The Big Buck Ranches are located throughout McCulloch county and are owned and operated by the King family. These west Texas hill country ranches have been used by the King family over the past 15 years for cattle, wildlife, and exotic operations. The landscapes of the ranches are a mosaic of rolling hills painted with a variety of native Texas trees and grasses providing a well-balanced habitat for all of the operations.

With resources such as the Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Texas Wildlife Association, the Texas Deer Association, as well as other organizations and land owners, the Big Buck Ranches have managed its whitetail and exotic herds over the past 10 years and have intensely managed its high fenced property for 2 years. These stewardship practices have resulted in a wildlife herd that consistently produces premium trophy bucks.
